We are very excited to announce that The Vurger Co have signed Kafoodle to help with their menu management and compliance ahead of their transformation from pop-up to London restaurant.
Founders Rachel Hugh and Neil Potts in collaboration with chef Andrew Dargue have created a menu to ‘revolutionise the fast food industry’ championing the very best vegetables, seeds, nuts and legumes in their ultimate plant-based burgers.
'After an inspiring trip to California, being exposed to just how delicious and accessible plant-based food can be, we realised London was really lacking a mainstream plant-based fast food business,' says Potts. With Ocado reporting that UK plant-based foods sales were up 1,500% in the last year there is clearly a vast market for plant-based food with people increasingly turning away from animal products for ethical and health reasons. This demand was dramatically reflected when The Vurger Co smashed their crowdfunding target of £180,000 in just 30 hours, reaching a final amount of £300,000 when the campaign closed a few days later. We are delighted to be joining The Vurger Co on their journey from pop up to restaurant, helping them to manage their costs, organise their menus and stay compliant during this amazing transitional period.
